Your WordPress site, rebuilt in AI code in one week
Fixing broken WordPress sites is the most common website job we get. WordPress is a lot like Windows: it always wants another update, and so does every plugin bolted onto it. If your site is a normal business site, there is now a simpler way. We rebuild it in plain web code using AI coding tools, keep your words, pictures and web address, and hand you back a site with no plugins and no database to keep patching. A typical site takes about a week.

The short answer
WaTo Consulting, an Adelaide IT and web company, rebuilds WordPress websites as code sites: plain web pages written with AI coding tools and checked by a person before launch. The words, pictures and page addresses carry over, so search rankings are kept. The finished site has no plugins, no database and no login page to attack. A typical business site of a few pages takes about a week and starts from $3,000 to $3,500 plus GST. Online shops and membership sites usually stay on WordPress.
What is a WordPress rebuild in AI code?
We take the site you have now and write it again as finished web pages, using AI coding tools to do the typing and our own people to check the result. Visitors see the same business, the same content and the same address. Underneath, WordPress, its theme, its plugins and its database are gone, so there is nothing left that needs a monthly round of updates. We call the result a code site. Our own site, wato.au, is built this way.
What you get
Your content, carried across
Your words, photos, logo and layout come with you. If you want the look freshened up while we are in there, we can do that at the same time.
Nothing left to update
No plugins, no theme and no database. The update notices stop because there is nothing asking for them.
A much smaller target
Most WordPress break-ins come through a plugin or the login page. A code site has neither, so there is far less to attack.
Faster pages
The pages are already built when a visitor arrives, so they load quickly on phones and on slow connections.
Google rankings kept
We keep your page addresses where we can and redirect the rest, so links and search results still land in the right place.
Forms that still work
Contact and quote forms are rebuilt to send to your inbox and tested before launch.

Who it's for
- Businesses with a WordPress site of a few pages that mostly gets touched when it breaks.
- Owners paying for plugin licences, a page builder and a care plan on a site that rarely changes.
- Anyone whose site was hacked or broken by an update and who does not want to go through it again.
- Businesses whose web developer has moved on and left a site nobody wants to touch.
How the week goes
- We look at your site. We go through every page, form and plugin, tell you what carries straight over and what needs a rethink, and give you a fixed price.
- We rebuild it. The pages are written in plain code with AI tools, then checked by us on phones, tablets and desktops.
- You review it. You get a private link to the new site and tell us what to change before anyone else sees it.
- We switch it over. Old addresses are redirected, forms are tested, and the new site replaces the old one. Your domain and email stay as they are.
- We look after it. Hosting is on our own Australian servers. When you want something changed, you tell us and we do it.
Why WaTo
- We fix, host and maintain WordPress sites as well, so if yours should stay on WordPress we will say so.
- A person reads and tests the AI-written code before it goes live. Nothing ships unchecked.
- The people who build the site also run the servers it sits on, so one call covers both.
- If you want to edit the site yourself, we can build it on VoxelSite or Sitejet instead.
- Adelaide owned and operated since 2001.
WordPress rebuild questions
Can you really rebuild a WordPress site in a week?
For a typical business site of a few pages with a contact form, yes, about a week from your go-ahead. Sites with many pages, a shop, bookings or member logins take longer, and we tell you how long before we start.
What does it cost?
As a suggested starting range, a small code site of 3 to 5 pages is $3,000 to $3,500 plus GST. Extra pages and special features are quoted. You get a fixed price after we have looked at your current site. See website options and prices for how this compares.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is done properly. We keep the same page addresses where possible, redirect any that change, carry over page titles and descriptions, and submit the new sitemap to Google after launch. Our rankings checklist lists each step.
How do I change things on the site afterwards?
You send us the change and we make it, billed by the hour. There is no dashboard to log in to, which is also why there is nothing to hack. If you would rather make changes yourself, VoxelSite lets you click on the words and photos to edit them.
Is AI-written code safe?
It is when someone who can read code checks it. We review and test every page before launch. Our guide on AI-coded websites versus WordPress covers the detail.
When should I stay on WordPress?
Online shops, membership sites and blogs with several people writing are what WordPress does well. For those we recommend keeping it and putting it on a proper maintenance plan.
My WordPress site is broken right now. Can you help?
Yes. Website rescue and repair gets it back up first. Then you can decide whether to keep maintaining it or have it rebuilt.
