Google Workspace setup & support in Adelaide

Get Google Workspace set up properly — business email, shared drives, video calls and documents that your whole team can actually use — and looked after by a local Adelaide team who pick up the phone. We handle the setup, the migration and the ongoing, so you can stop wrestling with IT and get back to work.

What is Google Workspace?

Google Workspace is Google's subscription bundle of business tools — Gmail for email on your own domain, Google Drive for cloud file storage, Meet for video calls, and Docs, Sheets and Slides for documents your team can edit together in real time. Everything lives in the cloud, so your staff can work from the office, home or a job site on any device. We set it up around how your business runs, not just the defaults Google gives you.

What we set up & look after

Business email on your domain

Professional Gmail addresses on your own domain — no more @gmail.com for the business.

Google Drive & Shared Drives

Cloud storage organised with the right sharing permissions, so files are easy to find and safe to share.

Google Meet & Chat

Video meetings and instant messaging configured for your team — no extra software needed.

Docs, Sheets & Slides

Documents your team can edit together at the same time, from anywhere, without emailing files back and forth.

Security & two-step verification

Two-step login, password policies and protection against phishing — set up without the headaches.

User management & licensing

The right plan for your team size — adding, removing and managing users without overpaying.

Who it's for

  • Businesses using personal Gmail accounts who want proper business email on their own domain.
  • Teams who need to share and edit documents together without version-control chaos.
  • Offices moving off an old email server or a clunky webmail setup.
  • Anyone who wants Google's tools set up once, properly — then simply looked after.

How it works

  1. A quick chat. We find out what you're running now and what you need.
  2. A plan and a quote. The right Google Workspace plan, and a migration path that won't disrupt your day.
  3. We do the move. Email, contacts, calendars and files migrated across — usually outside business hours.
  4. Set up & secured. Drive, sharing, security policies and two-step verification configured around your business.
  5. Looked after. Ongoing support, user changes handled, and a real person on the end of the phone.

Why WaTo for Google Workspace

  • A real person answers — not a chatbot or a call queue.
  • We migrate carefully — no lost email, no missed contacts, minimal downtime.
  • Set up for how your business works, not just switched on with Google's defaults.
  • One local team for IT, web, hosting and more — one number to call.
  • Adelaide owned since 2001, supporting businesses across SA and Australia-wide remotely.

Google Workspace questions

Can you move our email without losing anything?

Yes. We migrate your mail, calendars and contacts in full, usually outside business hours, so you come in the next morning with everything in place.

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Both are solid — it comes down to how your team works. We'll give you a straight recommendation, not a sales pitch for whichever pays us more.

How much does Google Workspace cost?

Plans start from around $8.40 per user per month for Business Starter. We match the plan to what you actually need so you're not paying for extras.

Is Google Workspace secure enough for business?

Yes, with the right settings. We configure two-step verification, phishing protection and sharing rules so your data stays where it should.

Ready to get Google Workspace sorted?

Tell us what you're running now and we'll map out the simplest way across — no obligation, just a straight conversation.

No two businesses are the same — so nothing we do is off-the-shelf. Every solution is built around yours, and kept simple.

Our story

Built in Adelaide, since 2001

WaTo Consulting was founded by John Watson in Adelaide in 2001. Over two decades it's earned a name for tailored work across a wide range of industries — helping businesses of every size run more smoothly, work more efficiently and grow steadily, without blowing the budget or disrupting the day-to-day.

Emma Watson (née Dickenson) played a significant part in shaping what WaTo became. She brought real expertise and a clear vision for where it could go — expanding the business, bringing in new systems and fresh thinking, and raising the standard of how things are done. A great deal of what WaTo is, we owe to her.

Today it's all tailored, never off-the-shelf — IT & Digital, Business & Web Hosting, built around what each client actually needs. Over the years those areas have come together under one roof: our IT & Digital, Currency, Business and Web work (through Whosts.au) now all sit within WaTo Consulting — one team, one standard, looking after the lot.

When you work with us, you're not a client — you're a partner.
